GnP413 Posted June 11, 2013 #1 Share Posted June 11, 2013 I've read here that NCL permits passengers to bring wine aboard during embarkation and that a $15 corkage is assessed. I have a few Shore Excursions booked that include visits to wineries. Can I purchase wine on the excursion and bring it aboard? When and how do they collect the corkage fee under these circumstances? bakerintn Posted June 11, 2013 #2 Share Posted June 11, 2013 If they discover it as you board, they will shunt you over to a table where the wine can be surrendered to them to hold for you until the end of the cruise, or allow you to pay the corkage fee and keep it with you (presumably to drink on board). garycarla Posted June 11, 2013 #3 Share Posted June 11, 2013 Yes, it works exactly the same as the first day of boarding. Luckily, they let you do this. RCCL does not allow wine other than the ORIGINAL port.
