Jiminy1955 Posted June 13, 2013 #1 Share Posted June 13, 2013 I keep reading that it gets pretty hot in Roatan as well as other places in the Western Caribbean. But how hot is hot? I live in AZ and it was 108 here today & currently @ 1:45 am it is still 90 degrees. So how does it compare?

texancruzer Posted June 13, 2013 #9 Share Posted June 13, 2013 Oh yeah - different heat than Arizona. Depending on what time of year (rainy season or dry) it can feel much hotter than it is....... As a side note: I remember zip lining in Costa Rica in March (spring break time) and at the end I was soaking wet - like I had showered with my clothes on wet....... the pool at the condo felt really good after that !!! PS: I live in So Texas on Padre Island so I am used to ALOT of humidity too !
