Amsterdam cabin location

Anyone familiar with cabins 7055 and 7056, porthole/window cabins on the navigation deck. Any issues with the pool being right above.

There are people who love these cabins. I have only read one reviewer who did not care for it because its arrangement is different than the other cabins. Others just love the location and are just a step away from being outside on the aft deck.

 

I believe 7056 has a better view. I think 7055 has a staircase in front of its window. If you do a search of these cabins on this site, you will find more info and can confirm which of the two has the better view. You can also search 7086 and 7083 on the Volendam and Zaandam, as these cabins are in the same location.

 

At one time these cabins were categorized as in Inside. They were great bargains back then.

Amster I had room 7056 last year on the two week cruise. I posted the pictures on Joannie's website.

 

I know there is another poster who LOVES LOVES LOVES this cabin... something Princess is her name.

 

We didn't have any issues with the pool at all, in fact it's back a bit. What is nice is you can quickly go up to the back deck without having to wait for the elevator.

 

If my memory serves me correctly, 7056 has the best view and there is a picture of the view....
