Opera 10th Sep

I am travelling on the Opera from Venice on the 10th of September. This will be my first cruise and I am really excited about it. I Can't wait!

 

I was wondering if there was anybody out there travelling on the same date?

Not going on that date but I wish I was! Just returned on Saturday from my first ever cruise - I also sailed from Venice on the Opera. I had a wonderful time and am sure you won't be disappointed. Sailing out of Venice is lovely, so make sure you are up on deck 12 to watch it!

There is no way I'd miss the sailaway. I've read many times that it is one of the best experiences in cruising. It'll also save me climbing the bell tower in San Marco as the ship's view will be even better - and higher?

We're doing our first cruise on the Opera the week before you! Will try and leave it neat and tidy!

Well, less than a fortnight to go now. No tickets as yet, but they can't be far away. I'll be waiting under the letter box on Tuesday morning!

The tickets arrived on the Friday for sailing the following Saturday. Cutting it a little fine I thought!

 

Anyway, my bags are all packed and I am off to the airport first thing in the morning for a couple of nights in Venice before boarding the Opera. I am SO excited!!!
