From Warwick Long Bay to Elbow Beach?

Hi,

 

We will be visiting Bermuda for the 1st time in a few days. I have dug through some posts here and noticed many people suggest walk from Horseshoe Bay to Warwick. Any reason no one continues further to Elbow beach? I did a quick google map and they are roughly 10min drive away and I assume there are buses running in between?

For starters, the road distance is about 2.5 miles, a little less by the shore. The shore is not all beach and there are private properties that would have to be crossed. There are rock outcroppings that will have to be bypassed. Check Google maps, satellite view, to get a good idea of what you would face walking.

 

Yes, a route #7 bus serves both locations. But from the bus route, you will have to walk an additional .2-.3 miles to get to the public side of EB.
