Disney? Thinking about trying it out - Need Advice

I don't mind all the Disney decor, in your face or not, we just want to make sure everyone has a great time and experience. After all isn't that why we all cruise? We were just a little concerned we, the parents, may not have enough to do in the evening while the kids are doing their activities. Thank you everyone for your insight, it is truly appreciated!

Love, love, love Disney cruises. We have been on 3. They are definitely more money but sometimes it is worth it. My husband hates the food though. Too foo foo for him

We were going to try the new ship this August for a 4 day cruise but decided that we would cruise with Carnival instead. Carnival had the same itinerary but we would have a grand suite with extended balcony vs. just a balcony with Disney and it would cost $1300 less. Plus we like the food on Carnival better. The savings paid for our hotel at Disneyworld for 5 nights following the cruise. We may try them again and pay the extra money but the itinerary would have to be really good.
