hebbie67 Posted June 23, 2013 #1 Share Posted June 23, 2013 Can anyone please advise whether the UK O2 Travel data plan (£1.99 for daily 15MB allowance) works on cruise ships? Or will we incur the ship's extortionate fees? This is our first cruise and technology is not our strong point so any advice would be appreciated. You will be subject to the ships extortionate fees, as you are using their satellite system and not mobile phone signals. Only turn on your phones once you have docked. You will be then using the local mobile phone network.

Not all countries fall under the travel data plan, some are at the higher rate.
