DJ1VIKES Posted June 24, 2013 #1 Share Posted June 24, 2013 Has anyone stayed at the above hotel in Quebec City. Will be going on a cruise out of QC in Nov. 2014. I noticed when looking at hotels for that time of the year that hotels were booking up pretty quick. Any comments about this hotel or suggestions on any other hotel. Thank you in advance, Dave J
maryann ns Posted June 24, 2013 #2 Share Posted June 24, 2013 https://www.google.ca/search?q=+quebec+hotel+champlain+vieux&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a There seem to be several places with similar names so check the addresses. 'Vieux' means old and of course part of Quebec City is called "Vieux Quebec" or "Old Town".

I noticed when looking at hotels for that time of the year that hotels were booking up pretty quick. Any comments about this hotel or suggestions on any other hotel. Thank you in advance, Dave J It is a modern (well, '60s) building in amongst older/historic buildings, in a quiet street in the middle of Old Québec. I have no personal experience with the hotel, but looks nice enough. It surprises me that November is booking up quickly. I would have thought it at most shoulder season, and closer to low season, for most hotels, as it's after fall foliage and not quite ski season.
