How much cash on St Thomas ?

POF

Recommended Posts

Trying to budget out cash ( I always use plastic ... so I never really carry much cash ). 4 of us ( Mom Dad and 2 teens ) on Freedom of the Seas - RCI. Traveling in July. Docked at Havensight ( I believe  )

We are in port 11:00 - 7:00

Main Priority - Sapphire Beach , we wanted to go up the tram - but O hear it is under construction and maybe do some shopping.

Cabs back and forth from Sapphire = $100.

Lunch and snack ( no alcohol ) = $80

Chair rentals, kayaks, etc. = $100

How much do you usually budget for a day there ? Is this reasonable ? Thanks

Yes you're fine with that. Taxi will be about $80 or less, lunch depends on what you get, the mahi mahi sandwich and burger at the Banana Cabana are about $12 - 14, you can also order pizza and other items from the restaurant. We don't rent because we stay there but I believe chairs are $7, not sure on kayaks and paddle boards.

So you're great - enjoy your time at Sapphire - excellent choice! ;)
