coldcanadians Posted June 24, 2013 #1 Share Posted June 24, 2013 We are looking at southwest from Detroit to San Juan with one stop. We only flew Delta once. Will there be food available to purchase on plane? Do they have the same inflight movies/tv? And is there complimentary drink and snacks? Thanks in advance. Southwest does not have any onboard entertainment - radio, TV, movies, nothing. Not even overhead (as opposed to personal TVs). They do not have snacks for purchase, but will give peanuts/pretzels on shorter flights, and cookies, etc. on longer flights. If you want a real meal, grab it at the airport. Non-alcoholic drinks (aside from energy drinks) are complimentary. Alcoholic drinks do cost money.
jsmeeker Posted June 28, 2013 #3 Share Posted June 28, 2013 What they DO have is a lot of airplanes with WiFi. So, that can be your entertainment. You can surf Cruise Critic. Of course, you gotta pay. :)
