blitznbobs Posted June 26, 2013 #1 Share Posted June 26, 2013 Hi, I'm just in the process of booking our first cruise with 2 kids (have cruised many times with one but not with 2). We have always gone for a mini suite as this seemed to give us the best compromise of cost vs space. However, I have discovered that with the particular cruise I am looking at it costs the same (well $1 different) to have either the mini suite we are used to or a balcony cabin plus a interior room, We can have these across the corridor from one another and I know with such small children my husband and I would have to 'split up' to sleep but I can't get my head around which option would work better. My children will be 5 and 2 at the time of sailing. Any experience of either will be useful. Thanks Blitz
Rare Keith1010 Posted June 26, 2013 #2 Share Posted June 26, 2013 When our children were that age we got a mini suite. Keith
Rare Scrapnana Posted June 26, 2013 #3 Share Posted June 26, 2013 I would choose the mini-suite as well. It will seem more like a family vacation with everyone in the same cabin. If your children were ten years older, the two rooms (and two bathrooms) would be handy.
