Arcades

We were on the Triumph as couple of years back, and our kids loved the arcade. It has 20 or so games. All different kinds, from snow boarding to car racing. I didn't spend alot of time in there, but I know they made several trips a day to it. The games have probably changed with time. But I am sure they will enjoy it.

Hello

when you get on board remember you can pre-determine the amount ( $$$ ) your child spends in the arcade..

I recommend this, as I heard alot of rumble from parents who realized at the end of the trip their child spent a coupleof hundred dollars in the arcade...

On mom's S&S card...

LOL

:)

I was on the Triumph's sister ship the Victory two summers ago. The arcade was not huge, but it was adequate. As someone else mentioned, it has about twenty or so games. You've got your standard air hockey and racecar driving games, as well as some oddities such as the really fun (and really addicting) star wars pod racer. He'll be fine, but I agree to make sure you keep an eye on how much he's spending at the arcade.

When we sailed on Carnival Conquest 2 years ago, Carnival automatically put a $20 limit per day on our sons sign and sail card. He was 13 at the time. The first day he ran through it pretty quick, but learned to budget after that.

You use your sail and sign card for the machines? No quarters?

You use your sail & sign to get tokens from the machines right near the entrance to the arcade (known as underground Tokyo).

My 12 year old DS loved it, and I tpend about 2-3 hours in there playing video games with him during one of our sea days. As others have said, it's not a huge arcade, but it was one of his favorite spots on the ship!
