Shore excursions???

We are lloking at booking the October 23rd Montreal - Miami cruise but have been told we would be on the wait list for several shore excursions that are important to us. Has anyone had experience with the wait list situation? Do they usually add additional tours or not?

Several years ago we booked Voyager in Caribbean at last minute and were waitlisted for all excursions and got everything when we boarded. Apparently Regent added more or there were cancellations. We were happy campers.

When excursions are waitlisted, Regent tends to simply add more buses and more buses and more buses - when it is possible to do so. There are some excursions that are limited by space - for instance, on a boat with a limited number of seats. Also, with "free" excursions, people sign up for everything possible and end up cancelling. I wouldn't worry about clearing the waitlist -- the odds are that you will.:)
