If your sailing out of Venice then aft cabin deck 9 for sure as you will have cabin floors above and below you, the sail away through the Venice canal is just spectacular on both sides and is fairly narrow, y'll get some great photo's.

Looking to book July 2014 Med - need advice at cabins, looking at deck 11

9 and 10

any suggestions? Thanks in advance,

Same as pretty much any cruise. Jade is a sister ship to Jewel, Pearl and Gem.

To me, there is only once reason to pick one deck vs the other - who is above you, and to a lesser extent, what is below you. Next thing is more to midships. Less to forward, with back third being okay.

Then there are Balcony, Insides, Oceanview, etc. How many people, etc.

I have been on the Jade 3 times so far and we had cabins 11528 and 11532 ( mini-suites) this time .. very quiet location under the italian restaurant . The restaurant has carpet so no noise from deck cleaning, high heels or anything else .. very convenient location to the buffet and great outdoors for some snacks ......would highly recommend ...have fun on your trip

In general I'd stay away from the cabins on deck 11 directly under the pool area, there will be noise nightly at wee hours when the deck is cleaned (chairs and tables dragged etc) by the crew. Same goes to some extent with the cabins under Great Outdoors.

On decks 9 and 10 there should be no major areas to avoid as there are cabins both under and above (on the outsides, insides are a bit different as there are galleys and the opening in atrium in middle of deck 8 but neither should disturb much cabins above them).
