Just got upgraded to an ocean suite for a VERY reasonable price!!!! Ecstasy and Dream, here we come....our first b2b, our first suite, AND we will be platinum!! WOO HOO!!!!

What date? Upgrade, upswell, whatever! Wish we would get called. We are sailing ecstasy July 15!

The upgrade/upsell/whatever is on the Dream, sailing Aug. 3. We paid $500 total (for 2) to upgrade from an aft balcony, which we considered reasonable! We sail on Ecstasy July 29, but haven't had any upgrade/upsell calls on that one.

Good for you! Carnival must have lost our number/e-mail because in 30+ cruises we have never received an upgrade or even an upsell call. Diamond doesn't count for anything for upgrades. Enjoy the suite.

OP, congrats on the upsell. It is a good price, if you are happy. DW and I have 17 CCL cruises, and never received a call either.:(

IN 19 cruise have received upgrade call 4 times, twice I said yes and twice I said no..

I took an upsell from an aft extended to a grand suite on Miracle last time and have a B2B leaving in 5 days- no call. Although I wouldn't switch this time. Last time was in a HC, too.
