Gaido's Seaside Inn Reviews

Looking for some reviews for Gaido's Inn. Most other hotels I'm finding have a two night minimum. I'm not looking for anything fancy, just clean and comfortable with a good continental breakfast in the morning. Also for those of you who have stayed at Gaido's did you park your car at the hotel during the cruise and take a cab, or did you pay for parking across from the terminal?

Thanks,

Amber

Haven't stayed there yet but will be next month. We are going to go ahead and park at Galveston park n cruise. Its $37.89 for our four day cruise to park there. If you park at gaidos you have to take a taxi to port and they said its about $15 each way with just one person. Each additional person is a couple dollars more. It just made more sense for us to park at the port. We picked Gaidos mainly for low rate, location on the seawall, and the pool size.

Gaidos has completed many capital improvements with more planned.

Motel is been around forever.

It has New pool bar area

and has three restaurants

with three kitchens.

One of which is private club Pelican and very nice.

Gaidos is legendary and Nicks is revised Caseys

with bar area around pool.

Some or all rooms have been updated.

For the price and average rooms and all the improvements to complex

and their location and being on Gulf of Mexico ,

it is a good selection.

It's not the Galvez, Tremont, Moody Gardens, or San Luis though.
