mickey-mouse Posted July 7, 2013 #1 Share Posted July 7, 2013 What time can you board the Breakwaway? I was wondering what time to get to the port?
SliceOfLife Posted July 7, 2013 #2 Share Posted July 7, 2013 What time can you board the Breakwaway? I was wondering what time to get to the port? It all depends on when the ship gets in port and how customs is doing. On my sailing we didn't board until 12pm, others have posted they were able to get on around 11am. Get there early so you can beat the crowds and find a seat. There isn't enough seating for all the passenger's so some people will be standing around for awhile. tinkandpan Posted July 7, 2013 #3 Share Posted July 7, 2013 we got there at 9:15 and were able to board at 11:30. We didn't have to wait on any lines to check in, got a seat and just sat there with a book and waited patiently to get on board. IT was super easy. Rare mizLORInj Posted July 8, 2013 #4 Share Posted July 8, 2013 This will of course vary by cruise. We got to the port at 11:15 and were in our cabin at 11:50. Worked out great.
newyorkray Posted July 8, 2013 #5 Share Posted July 8, 2013 We're on the Breakaway 9/15 but since we live in New York I went to see it leaving last Sunday. I spoke with a security officer (you can't go up on the outdoor parking to watch ships leave anymore) and i spoke to a NCL rep. I was told that the best time to show up is about 10AM and go through security and check-in. But then you have to be seated and wait until they start boarding which may be anywhere from 11AM to 12Noon. (I was told they give you numbers when you check in. The rep told me that the biggest crowds are from 12Noon to 1PM and the live is very long.
