VIP status for ocean suite on Carnival Dream

This is a question for recent cruisers on the Dream. We are sailing for our 7th time on the 27th of July and staying in an ocean suite for the first time thus the VIP status for early boarding. Faster to the Fun is not available. What are our chances of being able to drop off carry on in our suites when we board instead of having to carry it around until 1:30. Thanks.

I believe that's one of the VIP perks.

Nope...it's not a suite perk.

 

There's a sign on the closed doors to the hallways stating that Diamond, Platinum and FTTF pax can come on in. Suites are not included. (Someone around here has a picture of the sign.)

 

In the past, people here on CC say they go through anyway without problem.

 

But since FTTF started, they have become strict and will not let you enter if you have not earned/purchased the perk.

It is not a perk.. having said that, people do try it. Are you on the SPA level or high up? Sometimes the higher you are up the less cabins and thus less people trying. Again it is not a perk... just saying.
