My Cheers experience

Recently returned from a four night cruise on the Victory with my friend.

Based on what my husband & I drank on our February cruise, I knew that Cheers would be a good deal.

Neither my friend nor I ever hit the 15 drink limit, and neither one of us were ever sloppy drunk.

Most of my drinks were beer, and most of hers were Gin & Tonic.

I saved at least $36 and my friend estimated that she saved about $25.

I would definitely buy the program again!!

We really liked knowing what our "beverage" costs were up front. I know some people think that the Cheers program is used a "license" to over drink, but I don't think that we drank any more just because we had Cheers.

I agree that the cheers program did not cause us to drink more. What I like is that I may enjoy a baileys on the rocks after dinner, or upgrade the wine I have with dinner or try a new cocktail. If I was paying individually, I may not do this to avoid the extra cost.
