jaapstam Posted July 17, 2013 #1 Share Posted July 17, 2013 Hi everyone, I am thinking about a cruise on the Celebrity Millenium and was wondering if the indoor "solarium pool" can be used by everybody or just by those having paid for the Aquaspa. Can anyone of you help and clarify this? Has someone also an idea about the size of both the indoor and the outdoor pool and the amount of deckchairs there? Will it be easy to find a seat for example next to the indoor pool on days at sea when the weather is not too good for lying outside? Thank you for any helpful information! RL1180 Posted July 17, 2013 #2 Share Posted July 17, 2013 The solarium pool, and the area around it can be used by anyone (except children, since the solarium pool is adults only). Having sailed on the Infinity (same class of ship) to Alaska, there was never really any issue finding seats, and the indoor pool area never felt crowded even on the colder days at sea. Rare cruisestitch Posted July 17, 2013 #3 Share Posted July 17, 2013 On the M-class ships, the indoor pool is called a Thalassotherapy pool. It is heated and the water is enriched with minerals. It can damage swimsuits so do be aware of that. It is supposed to be for those age 16 and older. However, on some itineraries when there is inclement weather it is opened to families (children must be potty trained) for a couple of hours a day. This would be noted in the daily if it is going to happen on your cruise. If the weather is bad, it will be difficult to find a lounge chair there.
