Island Hoping via Boston Whaler

Looking at Somerset Bridge Watersports and H2O Watersports and renting a Boston Whaler for 1/2 day. Noticed H2O is closer to the dockyard as mentioned elsewhere on the forum. Not really a big concern but nice. Will be using a scooter to get there and back.

Question is... which location is better for a 4 hour rental? Which location is better for island hoping and/or sight seeing? Either one?

Any comments greatly appreciated. 38 days to go! :)

Thanks!

I think Somerset Bridge Watersports and H2O Watersports will be the one I do business with due to location. Want to be as close to the ship as possible saving travel time and hassle in the AM. Hamilton does not fit this requirement.

Looking for the most scenic ride and questioning whether one place vs. the other has any advantages. Don't snorkel. May want to beach the boat for a tad hence my original question.

Anybody?

Actually, we always use aquatic bermuda. We find it both easier to get to as well as less expensive. Somerset requires bus or cab. We find it easier to take the ferry ride directly to Hamilton. The boat pick up is about 1 block from ferry stop.

Sorry, didn't see your comment about using scooters.

You will be very happy with either Somerset or H2O. We rented from H2O last visit and after touring the inner and outer waters and stopping in Dockyard we beached at a small island in Mangrove Bay near Cambridge Beaches Resort where H2O is located before returning.

Great way to explore the beautiful West End from the water, highly recommend either outfit. Somerset provides a cell phone and that is a big plus. We had engine problems for a bit and did not think to bring our cell from our apartment.

We used somerset sport rentals. It was a 15.00 cab fee for four of us from the dockyard. The staff was great. They gave us a detailed map, cell phone, and ice for our trip. We also rented fishing poles. Kids fished and snorkeled. Great time.
