Splendor pools open when boarding?

I am looking at the Splendor on krooz-cam. We are going next week:D. The pool is closed. Is it usually closed during embarkation? What has your experience been.

They were working on the pool when we debarked this morning, so it was empty. It looked like they were replacing the underwater lighting. I do believe it was open when we embarked last week.

It was open when we boarded the Splendor last year (group 2). My kids were the first ones in :)

The pools are usually always open on embarktion day, and so is the waterslide!
