Mowiteem Posted July 24, 2013 #1 Share Posted July 24, 2013 Do they come on a lanyard or a holder. Just thinking ahead about how to keep my kids from losing them.;)

Rare John Bull Posted July 24, 2013 #3 Share Posted July 24, 2013 No. Not any cruise I've been on. But folk do put them on lanyards. Take lanyards with you (though on many ships you can buy lanyards with the cruise line logo). Ask guest relations or shop to punch a hole - then it'll be in the right place ;) JB :)

cb at sea Posted July 24, 2013 #5 Share Posted July 24, 2013 If your kids are old enough to run around on their own, then a lanyard is good. If they are not old enough to be on their own, you should keep their card....very young kids don't need it on their person, as long as they are with you and you have their card for leaving and returning to the ship. suzski Posted July 24, 2013 #6 Share Posted July 24, 2013 On many lines you can get a lanyard-type thing from the Casino for free...while it doesn't fit around your neck it does afford more protection for you than just having a loose card. Superspeechie Posted July 24, 2013 #7 Share Posted July 24, 2013 Our kids got free lanyards when we enrolled them in the kids program.
Tiggertastic Posted July 25, 2013 #8 Share Posted July 25, 2013 The shops sell them too We used to ask for a hole to be punched in them. Kids can have a clip on keyring instead of a lanyard. I do recommend that if young kids have them, the lanyard is a breakable one so if it gets caught in something it will just break
