No. Not any cruise I've been on.

But folk do put them on lanyards.

Take lanyards with you (though on many ships you can buy lanyards with the cruise line logo). Ask guest relations or shop to punch a hole - then it'll be in the right place ;)

If your kids are old enough to run around on their own, then a lanyard is good. If they are not old enough to be on their own, you should keep their card....very young kids don't need it on their person, as long as they are with you and you have their card for leaving and returning to the ship.

On many lines you can get a lanyard-type thing from the Casino for free...while it doesn't fit around your neck it does afford more protection for you than just having a loose card.

The shops sell them too

 

We used to ask for a hole to be punched in them. Kids can have a clip on keyring instead of a lanyard. I do recommend that if young kids have them, the lanyard is a breakable one so if it gets caught in something it will just break
