Celebrity Reflection: Cabin 1696

Hello

We are looking at booking this cabin on the Reflection for a September 2014 sailing. It's a C1 concierge class - our main reason for booking it is that we love to be on the aft. Does anyone have any further information, pictures or advice for us before we book.

Also I know that there are Aqua Spa cabins but we don't want to compromise the aft for these - what are our options for using the spa facilities? Is there an indoor spa pool or Jacuzzi? We absolutely loved NCL Dawn for their spa environment which you could book a pass for to cover the whole cruise and wondered if there was something similar here.

We are completely new to Celebrity so would really welcome any advice whilst I start to read through all the good advice already posted here :)

Many thanks in advance!!!!

May I suggest you go to the Reflection reviews and read some of the latest through. Just read a review last night from someone that is used to the Spa environment on NCL and although they really liked the Reflection, apparently you can not compare the Spa with NCL, as you would be dissappointed.

I can answer some of your questions. First, the spa pool is the solarium, which is open and no extra charge for all passengers, adults only. There are 2 hot tubs in this area.

There is a lovely spa area called the Persian Gardens in the Aqua Spa. It is free with Aqua Class, or you can purchase a daily pass or for your whole cruise. I got a day pass once, and from then on, purchased for the entire cruise. It is a great place to relax, with heated tile loungers looking out huge windows over the water. Also a sauna, steam room (turkish bath), aromatherapy room, cold room, and some really neat showers. Just FYI, I know you are talking about Reflection, but IMO, the M class Persian Gardens are not worth it. I did a day pass on Millie, and did not go back.

For some odd reason, there are no hot tubs exclusively for Persian Gardens or Aqua Spa patrons. I asked. I think it would be nice to have a private hot tub area you could use after spa treatments, without having to count on the public, often crowded, hot tubs at the solarium or outdoor pools. :(

I have been on many Celebrity ships but not on the Reflection. I will be on Nov. 1 TA. Thanks for the info. Do you know if they have the Quisine restaurant on the Reflection?

I had Cabin 1676 Penthouse deck on the Eclipse. It was at the stern of the ship and was wonderful. I could see both sides of the area when we arrived in ports and it was very large and quiet. I don't know if the Reflection will be exactly the same but the ships are similar except the Reflection I think is larger. I am on the Reflection Nov. 1 2013 for the first time and in cabin 9214. I have been on many Celebrity ships and very happy with them.

I am looking for cabin information on the Eclipse. Has anyone stayed in Cabin 1661 or Cabin 1668 Deck 11 on the Eclipse. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Addie

I stayed in Cabin 1676 Penthouse Deck on the Eclipse and loved the room. It was at the stern of the ship looking out on the wake of the ship. I liked it also because you could see both sides of the area when arriving in port.

Yes, Qsine is one of the specialty restaurants on the Reflection...only 125 days to go.

We've stayed in 1696 on the Reflection. It's a great cabin. Obviously a bit of a walk from the stairs and lifts, but lovely and quiet. The balcony is a good size with reclining chairs, footrests and table. The bed is by the window. We enjoyed breakfast looking out over the wake. We loved it and would definitely book the same one again.:)
