THE BLAKE HOTEL-NOLA-who has been here?

Tell me all about it. Who all has stayed here? What's the good and the bad? Any suggestions?

 

We are looking for a place for NOLA for our upcoming cruise in December. We have stayed at Drury (loved it), but they are a little more expensive and we also stayed at Springhill (loved it too), but they say there's no rooms available for our dates.

 

I happen to find this Blake hotel and it look pretty nice and a decent price. So, just looking for others that have stayed here.

I literally just booked a room at The Blake...like two minutes ago! I looked at TripAdvisor and most of the reviews were very good and said that they would recommend and/or stay there again. With the room, you can also park at the Fulton garage for only $10 per day vs the Erato Street which is $16 per day, I believe.

Did you book it for the upcoming cruise listed in your countdown in 16 days? If so, can you come back and post your thoughts on the place and also if you eat down stairs at the cafe, let me know how it is and some pricing if you remember. Thanks so much.
