Can someone who has been on a cruise out of New York in the winter let me know how rough the waters are we have only been on a cruise out of Miami any information would be appreciated

we sailed on Feb 10th,of this year

the waters were not silky smooth, but it was not the worst sea's we had sailing out of NY

it was a little cool the first few days, but we expected that.

we sailed allot from NY and I would rate that trip as a very good one

I wouldnt worry about the water would worry more about the temp. Going to be cold the first and last day or day and half and blizzard could prevent you going to the ship.

 

This is why we always travel to Florida for our winter cruises.

haven't had a lot of rough water sailing from NYC at any time of year. It was chilly in late December but by the end of the first day at sea had warmed up considerably.
