Got the passport, did the online checkin, printed all the documents, not booking any excursions..what else needs to be done besides having a lot of fun? We've always used a TA but decided to do it ourselves this time.

I notify my credit card (or debit card) holder that I will be out of the country so they won't decline my card thinking there are fraudulent charges.

I notified the credit card and the debit card companies about the cards last week.

We're taking Amtrak from Memphis to New Orleans and already have those tickets in hand, so no parking.

 

We're staying at the Doubletree pre cruise, so we're just trying to decide on a good place to eat. I've heard about soft shell crab po boys and I would really like to try that.

My last minute routine consists mainly of packing, repacking, getting glasses adjusted and overall pampering (nails, haircut, brow wax, etc...). I also plan a night pre-cruise to watch old cruise dvds and drink tropical drinks out of our dod glasses.

dont forget to print out the luggage tags... i always use some clear packing tape to help protect them... and i make a last minute list to help not forget the important stuff like meds, passports, chargers, batteries, extra mem cards etc... have fun!! wish it was me!!!
