Kids and cruising on Halloween

Costumes?

Trick or treating on the ship?

I have cruised over Halloween before- but it was our honeymoon ;)

So details like that were overlooked

I was on a Greek Isles on Princess for Halloween 2007 and I have vague memories of cruise staff escorting a couple kids in costumes around to various bars on ship trick or treating. :p I was kidless that cruise too, so memories are fuzzy. We'll be sailing with our kids Halloween this year so I'm interested to see what they have going on.

We've done Halloween a couple times on Carnival. They take the kids in costumes around the ship to various "stations" bars etc and get candy. Then end at the disco where they announced each child and gave out more candy. I have video of this somewhere. I think my son was around 5 at the time. Yes we brought costumes, we were more prepared the 2nd time.

We cruised with norwegian and they didn't do anything :( We did bring their costumes and my daughter and niece wore it the whole day. We saw maybe 2 other kids in costumes.

Awwww that's so sad! :(

What year was that? I have my signatures turned off.

Disney is making a whole month out of trick or treat on the Dream. They are calling it Halloween on the High Seas

I know that one Norwegian cruise capitalizes on Kiss for Halloween - but that's more adult oriented ;)

I thought all of the cruise lines (at least the main stream ones) would have something for the kids for Halloween. They should!

It was 2010. BUT, my daughter was only 10 months and my niece was almost 2 so neither of them were in the kids club. Maybe they did something in the kids clubs and I just didnt see it
