Residence Inn Port Canaveral question

here you can see RI and the channel - at the nearest about 3/4 mile .. and there are buildings and stuff 'tween. If your room faces the channel you'd see the top of the ship as it heads up channel - the higher up your room the better.

 

Note that the ships tend to come in EARLY .. 6:30 or earlier . . .

I wouldn't think so....the Residence Inn is about a mile or so away. If you wanna see the ships come in in the morning drive down by restaurants that are along the waterfront....you will get some great pictures down there

If, you have a room on the top floor the hotel is only 4 stories IIRC and your room faces the right way you will see the very top of the ships when they come in and you can sort of see the top of the Royal Caribbean ship when it is at the pier.
