ssbeard1 Posted August 1, 2013 #1 Share Posted August 1, 2013 Was thinking of doing the jet boat at reversing falls. They have a time 1 hr. before high tide and another time approx. 2 hours before low tide. I asked the company which is best, and they indicated they were both good. Has anyone done this or have an opinion one way or the other. Thanks.

Make sure you bring clothes to change into; we wore our bathing suits and then changed into our clothes following so we didn't have to lug wet clothes back to the ship

The people behind us wore clothes underneath and they were slightly wet. I would recommend a bathing suit so you would just have that to lug around
the2006Junket Posted August 16, 2013 #6 Share Posted August 16, 2013 Hi, just back from our Canadian cruise and we did the Jet Boat ride in the morning and it was great. However, I think either tide would be similar...just going the other way ;) As for the clothing....we wore our bathing suits under clothes (me, a sundress), took off the clothes and just had on our suits under the rain gear they provide. If it's cool, I'd recommend bringing a fleece to wear over your suit/under the rain gear. My bottom was completely wet, so I was REALLY glad I had changed out of clothes. Afterwards, changed into dry underwear and put the wet suits in my bag. They provide dry small towels, so you don't need to bring a towel. It was a fun experience! scrappylenore Posted August 16, 2013 #7 Share Posted August 16, 2013 Definitely low tide. That is what our tour guide told us and we saw the difference in the rapids between low and high tide as we visited the Reversing Falls both times and saw the huge difference in the amount of rapids.
