We live in Hawaii. This will be our fourth trip to FP, the third on PG. I can't echo enough the sentiments of how glorious both FP and PG make the experience. As for FP making one sour on Hawaii, it's all about how you experience the islands. Immerse yourself in the culture, get off the beaten path, and stay away from Honolulu. Those are great prescriptions for any trip, but don't give up on our islands either. The vastness and isolation offered from our lanai on the Big Island often remind me of how lucky we are.
