What to pack for Canary Island cruise in October

Recommended Posts

We're heading to the Canaries/Spain/Portugal this mid-Oct and I've read that the Canaries have an unusual climate so we're wondering what to pack.

Are we still able to go to the beach? Will we be able to use the pool onboard?

Thanks!

We stopped in Portugal and the Canaries last November as part of a transatlantic. It was raining - heavy rain in Lisbon - light rain in the Canaries. Many people said that this was fairly common in the late fall. It was not particularly cold - people were using the pools on board.

We have found this website very helpful for cruise weather forecasts. It has usually been very accurate. Thought it might help:

Thanks for the response.

We were on a Celebrity wine cruise last Nov with stops in Spain and Portugal and it was fairly nice weather; although a bit damp. Hopefully the Canaries will be a bit warmer? Thanks for the weather website....although the range is only for 30 days and we're just over 60 days till we sail (yes, a bit eager/excited about packing!!!)
