Carnival Spirit - quick question

Hi all,

 

I am booked on the Carnival Spirit for Saturday - Woohoo! :)

 

I just have a quick question for anyone who has been on the Spirit before. Can I take my hair straightner with me, or am I going to have to cope with trying to straighen my very very curly hair with just a hairdryer?

Many people have posted comments to say they took their hair straightener with no problems. The electrical appliances that are definitely banned are items like irons, coffee makers and electric jugs (particularly ones that do not shut off automatically). The concern is that the appliance could start a fire if left turned on when passengers leave the cabin. I don't think that is going to happen with your hair straightener.
