Military Rate Drop

Is there anyway to get credit for a rate drop after final payment on a military rate? We are originally booked under the military rate, but are past final payment. Ive done a couple of searches and it appears some people have but when I called Carnival just now they said that it is not possible. Just a bit confused!

First, what Carnival says is the only things that matters since the decision lies with them only.

 

Second, only ES rate gets you anything after final payment date.
