Wyoming2010 Posted August 16, 2013 #1 Share Posted August 16, 2013 We are sailing from Quebec on HAL's Eurodam in September for the Canada/New England cruise. Can anyone recommend a good restaurant for dinner? Since the ship is staying overnight, we don't want to miss the chance to eat in town. Thanks! :D

Twickenham Posted August 26, 2013 #3 Share Posted August 26, 2013 Lots of choice for supper in Québec City. One of the fav suggestions here is Aux Anciens Canadiens; traditional Québécois cuisine, in a lovely old house in the heart of Upper Town. In Lower Town, where your ship will be docked, I quite like L'Initiale. There's also a quite nice casual restaurant in the cruise terminal, Le Café du Monde. And, of course, for the best view in the city, you can't beat L'Astral, although another option is to have dinner somewhere else and go to L'Astral for dessert or coffee/drinks. Of course, one very valid option is to walk around Old Québec and read menus, stopping until you see a place that you like the look of.
