they have internet cafes in Vila and Noumea which is pretty cheap

Usually get the Internet free with princess with being Platinum not happy P&O does not recognise this....nothing free with P&O by the looks of it.:(

Marge we are elite with princess and the only thing we get when we cruise p&o is an invite to the captains cocktail party

It wouldn't do P&O any harm to reciprocate some of Princess's perks!!! Loyal passengers don't even get priority boarding. Now that wouldn't cost them anything. :cool:

Assuming both Jewel and Dawn use the same setup, you can pay per minute or purchase blocks of time. On our cruise on Dawn a couple of weeks ago we bought 240 minutes (approx) for $100.

 

Surprisingly the connection speed was really quite good, so sending emails and general browsing was relatively painless.
