meaclasact2 Posted August 19, 2013 #2 Share Posted August 19, 2013 Wonderful article. If any of you have time pre or post cruise, do consider visiting the Intrepid museum. It is an incredible exhibit and now we have a space shuttle there as well. O/P - again - thanks for posting!

Arusha Posted August 19, 2013 #4 Share Posted August 19, 2013 And it's conveniently right next to the cruise piers:
marco Posted August 20, 2013 #5 Share Posted August 20, 2013 We have toured the "Intrepid" and it was a wonderful, wonderful experience. We did not do it in conjunction with taking a cruise and we spent around 4 hrs touring it. If you plan on doing it pre-cruise, get there early so's not to be rushed. If post cruise, if you parked at the cruiseship terminal, you have until shortly after the sailing time (of the cruise sailing the day you got off) before the parking terminal closes, and if you're spending time in NYC pre/post cruise, it's a great 1/2 day tour. I highly recommend it!
