Rare Tom-n-Cheryl Posted August 19, 2013 #1 Share Posted August 19, 2013 I thought it would be "fun" to play Blackjack at the tables near the pool on the Epic, but each time (on two sailings) we went up there they were closed - apparently due to being too windy. I can't imagine why NCL would not want the dealers hole card to flip over in the breeze! At any rate, do they have similar tables on the Breakaway? What about playing video poker on the TV in your cabin - is that on the Breakaway as it was on the Epic? Not that the pay tables are any good, but it's a nice way to kill a few minutes while Cheryl is getting ready for dinner! THANKS! Tom
aces389 Posted August 19, 2013 #2 Share Posted August 19, 2013 Are the pay tables the same as in the casino? Does your account get credited for playing on-line? Thanks,:)

Thanks,:) Not sure about the pay tables in the casino - as when I'm in there, I'll be at the BJ table. With the exception of using my slotplay coupons in the VP machine. I'll take note next month! Yes - you can transfer $ from your shipboard account directly to the VP in your room. Any winnings then go towards that same account. They do not track your play for purposes of CAS benefits however. Rare Tom-n-Cheryl Posted September 24, 2013 Author #6 Share Posted September 24, 2013 there is no pool-side Blackjack on the Breakaway and I don't think there is video poker either Just back from the Breakaway yesterday. You were right on the money regarding the pool-side Blackjack. However, there was indeed video poker available on the TV in our cabin... I played for about 20 minutes before hitting 4OAK and netting a nice $500+ win. I IMMEDIATELY cashed out, putting that $ back directly onto our shipboard account.
