How can I find out what rate I am booked under?

I didn't book the cruise but I have access to my documents. How can I tell which rate the cruise was booked under so I can see if we are eligible for price drops? I can't figure out by looking at cruise documents.

Any rate is eligible for price drops. The early saver rate is eligible the longest. Up to 2 days before sailing. All others will acknowledge price drops up to final payment. I would just call Carnival and ask them the rate you're booked under.

Thank you for your help and advice. I am going to call so that I will know what rate to use when checking to see if the price drops. We are 4 months out from cruise and 2 months out from final payment so I am hoping to see it go down!!

On my booking confirmation, beside "cabin type" it tells what category.

For resident rates you can ask for price adjustments up to Final Payment date. If you notice a lower rate just call them for a price adjustment which would reduce the final amount owed.

Two final question...Can I choose OBC or will it reduce final payment amount? And do I have to call or can I file for it online? I found ours went down $100 this morning.

you can do either.

 

I called, sat on hold for two minutes (at 6:30pm central on a Saturday) and then got a super helpful lady in Atlanta who had the reduction done in less than a minute had a new email confirmation in my in box before I hung up with her.

 

Or you can fill out the online form and see the credit on your account quickly. Take a screen shot of the price if doing it online in case it does change as you get your form reviewed.

I ended up calling after submitting the form because it was just for Early Saver and saved $100 off the 2 cabins that we have booked!!
