How do you put a picture inside your message box. How do some of these people do it? What have I missed?

 

I know you can add attachments, but some pictures in the message box is great.

Here's how...

 

Click on "Post Reply" to open the message box.

 

Right above the box are icons. Find the one with the framed mountain. That's the "insert image" icon.

 

Put the flashing curser where you want the image to be.

 

Click the icon.

 

A pop up window will appear. Paste (or type) the http address of the image in the pop up window. Click ok.

 

Your image will appear in your message now.

 

The image you use has to be from a posted image online or one you put on an image hosting website. If you want to use a picture you found online, right click on it, go to "properties" and copy the url (http address). Paste that into the insert image box. Be sure to only have ONE http: in the address.

 

Hope this helps. It can be confusing the first few times you learn to do this stuff. :)

I use Photobucket. It is really simple. Just download a photo from your "My Documents" to Photobucket, copy the IMG code, and then paste it (the code) into your message. A full size photo will appear.
