Jonah315 Posted September 7, 2013 #3 Share Posted September 7, 2013 It is possible and fairly straightforward. My wife is gf and we ate in the WJ for supper a couple of times on cruises on Freedom and Explorer. You can ask one of the Maitre D's who will happily take you around and explain what is gf and what is not. Sounds the previous person who posted has a great contact too but we have always found RCI good for gf. Bob
Rare Lionesss Posted September 7, 2013 #4 Share Posted September 7, 2013 In fact some of the Entre"s were labeled Gluten Free in the WJ on the Allure. But they were not in their own area, they were spread through-out, ex. breads with bread. But, If you are sensitive to Gluten I would be afraid someone may take a serving spoon or tongs what-ever and cross contaminate, giving problems for you. Although Gluten Free....I would still be cautious in the WJ But there are safe venues. Sea Ya
Hozhoni Posted September 7, 2013 #5 Share Posted September 7, 2013 Does any one know if the Windjammer accommodates gluten free. like they do in the MD? Want to try Windjammer for dinner. Thanks! Im strictly GF as well and will take my first cruise as GF in 26 days....Im nervous about cross contamination in the WJ myself...so will most likely keep to salads and meats, not worried about the MDR :) make sure they know about your GF concerns...when i booked today he stated that GF is their biggest special eating request :) good to know Dont think we will go hungry though ;) Dawn
