Excursion Swop

We will be sailing on the Eclipse in a couple of weeks time and have already booked some shore excursions with Celebrity. Does anyone know , once on board, if we wished to exchange an excursion for some other excursion would this be possible ?.

You can cancel an excursion without penalty on board up until a published cut off time which will be sometime the afternoon or evening the second day before your excursion. For example, a excursion on a Wednesday will have a cut off time sometime Monday afternoon or evening.

 

If you cancel an excursion before the cut off time the excursion cost will be refunded to your on board sea pass account. You will need to return the tickets to the excursion desk in order to cancel the excursion. If you want a different excursion then you can book it at that time if it is still open for sale (not sold out).

 

The exact cut off time will be published in the excursion order form available after you are on board. Excursions which are the day after sailing are sometimes non-cancellable and sometimes cancelable up through a cut off time on embarkation day.

 

If you know you want to do this now then you should still be able to cancel online and then book a different excursion. I beleive you can cancel online up to something like 5 days before your cruise (exact cut off for pre-cruise cancellations is on Celebrity's web site).

Often it is -- you cancel the existing reservation and make a new booking for the excursion you want. But there are no guarantees. Sometimes excursions are sold out. And there are deadlines for cancellation so do pay close attention to the order booklet you receive on board to learn what your cancellation options are.

Thanks for the info, its a Gibralter excursion we may change so I can review it once on board.
