Any recommendations for private tour companies operating in Lima?...

In 2012 we used Peru Inca Wonders to do a private tour in Lima off our cruise ship. We were very happy with the guide and vehicle we used. Another person in our small group did the back and forth planning the tour with them but my understanding was the planning went smoothly. We choose where we wanted to go and they made it happen.

We had 2 days in Lima but used the 2nd day as a start for our 3 night trip to Machu Picchu so jammed as much as possible into our first day.

In Lima Peru I offer the following information:

 

Pickup and drop offs for the tours are at the entrance of the El Callao port terminal. It is a 4 to 6 block walking distance from the ship to the terminal. Please let the tour company know if you require pickup at the ship vs. the terminal. The port authority charges the tour companies approximately $40 USD per day to enter the port for passengers. This fee must be passed on to the tour passengers that require this service.

 

You may request a private tour, a private group tour or join a group that your fellow passengers are forming.
