Ship's transfer in Istanbul

I'll be arriving at the airport in Istanbul this Sunday (Yes, I'm on tenterhooks!) at 10:30 AM. I have a ship's transfer. Assuming I clear customs by noon, what will the transfer company do with me for the 3+ hours until I can board at 3 PM? Just drop me at the pier? I won't be arriving at the same time as the rest of my party, so I'll be by myself, though there will surely be other passengers on the same transfer.

It's been our experience that when this happens, and you've booked thru the Cruise Line that they will have something planned for you. i.e. a free tour of the city or a lunch somewhere.

Thanks, zorro, for putting my mind at ease. My main concern was being "chained" to my luggage on the pier so I couldn't go off on my own for a little shopping or lunch.
