Magen Bay with Infant Taxi Cost/Best way to get there

Does anyone know if they charge for an infant in the taxi's? Also do they charge the infant for the entrance at the bay? I know RCCL allows an infant to go on the excursion for free so trying to decide what is more cost effective.

 

I want to go to the bay and then maybe walk into town maybe take the tram up the mountain? Suggestions?

If you are holding your child the taxi should not charge for the ride but I also don't know if car seats are required so someone else will be more helpful. Not sure about the entrance fee, but it's worth it to be on your own and not tied to a group.

The tram to Paradise Point is a great way to end your day, great spot to take in the view and enjoy a Bailey's Bushwacker (or a virgin one).

You may be able to work with a taxi at the dock, they provide mini-tours everyday. Otherwise

Need same info, we are travelling with an infant as well, grandma, grandfather, dad,mom and baby Originally wanted sapphire, but at $14-15 per person just for the taxi ride would settle on someplace closer and less taxi fare.

There are beaches closer to the ports and taxi is $5 - 6 vs $9 - 11 for Sapphire but you get what you pay for if I may say that. But look at Lindbergh Bay (aka Emerald) if docked at Crown or Morningstar if at Havensight.

Are car seats required? Just curious if it is the same as the states. Also, how much is it to get into Magens bay beach?

Is Megans Bay beach open during the shut down?

Magens is part of a territorial park system, not the national park system, and is open for business. :) BTW, Smith Bay/Lindquist is also part of that territorial system and is also not affected by the feds.
