Carnival Valor kids clubs

We will be on the Valor in November, traveling with friends. The kids are 10 and 12. It looks like the kids clubs they have on board would split the kids up (based on the ages). Does anyone know if they are flexible with this? Would the 10 year old be able to go with the 12 year old so that they aren't split up?
