We did this excursion on our last Panama Canal Cruise.....enjoyed it so much, we are considering doing it again this time. I'm in the process of researching what else is available.

My only concern is the heat in March. I'll cover good with sunscreen .When is your cruise ?

There will really be little difference in temps whenever you go. The biggest variable would be the cloud cover... if you were to go in November, December you would have a better chance of partly cloudy skies. January on through April it tends to be scattered clouds. A good sunscreen is the best defense as you have taken into consideration already. One little caveat, although there is only a very slight chance of rain in March... it could happen... not likely however:)! Enjoy.
