FTTF Long Beach questions

There was a review here recently from someone who used fttf there and they said it was chaos in the beginning. I guess they were given a Zone 5 card and no one knew anything about fttf. Later they were told fttf was already on board and they missed it.

*shrug*

Overall they said it was worth it though.

Haven't done FTTF in Long Beach but have gone thru Priority check-in there many times.

The Priority building is a puny thing between the parking Structure and Dome. Bathroom is attached to the building. You will need your boarding pass to enter the building. It will be taken and put into the que. You can wait in the chairs, if there is room. It might take a while to check in because there are usually only two or three checkin clerks. At times our red/gold card carpool (nonFTTF) buddies have boarded before us.

If you arrive before the Dome opens--After you check in you can wait inside or go outside and sit on the planters. Sit towards the right side, eventually someone will get you. You should be after the weddings, platinum and suite pax. (They really would like you outside. It seems that the priority room is smaller than an IS cabin.)

If you arrive after the Dome opens- check in at the building then go to the far right line, it will say Priority. You will then go through a special line to merge into the regular security line at the scanners.

You will need to show your S&S card and ID to enter the Dome.

After security go straight, use the elevator in the hallway if you want to avoid the photogs.

S&S pictures might be taken upstairs just before you go on the gangway. I have heard that pix are now taken at checkin.

YMMV.
