Mystery Island & Loyalty Island

Recommended Posts

Suggestions on what to do, places to visit, food to eat please?

Mystery Island is very small. The locals offer a couple of tours - snorkelling or to their village on the nearby island. They sell lobsters, but if you want one, I suggest you buy (and eat) it early in the day because they don't have refrigeration or even ice.

Loyalty Island - Do you mean Lifou? I can't recommend anything to eat here. The locals usually offer a tour. Snorkelling at Jinek Bay is usually the main activity. You can walk there from where you get off the tender. We usually walk to the church on the headland from where there is a great view of the ship at anchor.
